DB Gebrauchtzug 111 074 Ainring (20237n)

            Im Jahr 2025 fanden die letzten Fahrten des Zugpaars IC 2082/83 von und nach Berchtesgaden mit Lokbespannung und klassischem Wagenpark statt. Da zuletzt die Streckenklasse herab gesetzt wurde und die Baureihe 101 somit die Zulassung auf dem Streckenabschnitt ab Freilassing verlor, behalf sich DB Fernverkehr mit der Anmietung von Loks der Baureihe 111 bei DB Gebrauchtzug. Zur Freude vieler Eisenbahnfreunde wurden dabei insbesondere die bunt gestalteten Exemplare aus dem Bestand verwendet. Unter anderem die in den Farben des ehemaligen Touristik-Zuges gehaltene 111 074. Am 01. Mai 2025 beförderte die gemeinsam mit der verkehrsroten Schwester 111 067 den IC 2082 bis Freilassing. Bei Ainring konnte ich den Zug kurz vor seinem Etappenziel mit dem Staufen-Massiv im Hintergrund und frisch gemähter Wiese im Vordergrund fotografieren. 

In 2025, the last journeys of the IC 2082/83 train pair to and from Berchtesgaden took place with locomotive traction and classic rolling stock. As the route class had recently been downgraded and the 101 series had thus lost its licence to operate on the section from Freilassing, DB Fernverkehr decided to rent 111 series locomotives from DB Gebrauchtzug. To the delight of many railway enthusiasts, the colourfully designed models from the fleet were used in particular. These included the 111 074, which was painted in the colours of the former tourist train. On 1 May 2025, it hauled the IC 2082 to Freilassing together with its traffic red sister 111 067. Near Ainring, I was able to photograph the train shortly before its stage destination, with the Staufen massif in the background and freshly mown meadows in the foreground.
