Juvenile european rabbit - a photo on Flickriver

            At the beginning of this spring season I started “Project Rabbit” because the dunes are scattered with them. However capturing a wild rabbit is certainly not an easy task. They are incredibly alert and stamp their back legs to warn others for approaching danger. I must have spent at least 4-5 hours laying flat in the field and sometimes a rabbit came out in the field to check me out.
