Guess what I did on Fathers Day (again!)

            On duty (again) at the ELR Transport Museum and re-united with an old friend!
During my time at Frederick Road Bus Depot, Salford City Transport bus number 112 was one of the many Daimler and Leyland buses I drove in my ten years as a PSV driver.
TRJ112 is a 1962 Daimler CVG6 with MCCW H37/28R double deck bodywork.
These models had the 'Pre-Select' gearbox and one that I particularly liked, once you got used to the foibles of the selector pedal (not a clutch pedal!) particularly being able to coast to a stop whilst still in gear and not stalling the engine!
