Low Force - Tees Valley - a photo on Flickriver

            Low Force is an impressive series of falls in the Tees Valley about a mile downstream from the more famous High Force waterfall. 

We drove over the Pennines which were enshrouded in cloud and covered in a blanket of snow to reach a drizzly Tees valley. Luckily the rain paused long enough for us to get some photography done. The rocks were extremely icy so I had to be careful positioning myself. The peat stained water powers through these falls and you really wouldn't want to fall in.
