Moonset over Buda Castle - a photo on Flickriver

This photo sequence was taken on the evening of 8th May, 2016 from the riverbank of Danube in Budapest at the time when 47 hour-old vaxing crescent Moon was setting over Buda Castle. The Lunar crescent was recorded in every three minutes since I found it on the Western sky.
I had been planning to create this photo for years but the renewal of the Castle Garden Bazaar (the "lower", brighter part of the castle) that made the scene turned to a construction area with cranes, docking cruise ships or cloudy weather had prevented it. But at last: the Bazaar is renewed, ship is en route, clouds gone -- I completed the photo project! :)
To me, the Castle is the most beautiful building in Budapest, the pearl of Budapest World Heritage Site since 1987.
