            2015 : 150ème anniversaire de la première ascension du Cervin.
Le Cervin (Cervino en italien, Matterhorn en allemand) est un sommet alpin de 4 478 mètres d'altitude, situé sur la frontière italo-suisse, entre le canton du Valais et la vallée d'Aoste.
L'ascension de la face nord fut considérée comme le dernier des grands exploits de l'alpinisme dans les Alpes, avec celle de l'Eiger et celle des Grandes Jorasses qui forment ensemble les trois grandes faces nord des Alpes.

The Cervin (Cervino in Italian, Matterhorn in German) is an alpine summit 4 478 meters in height, situated on the Italian-Swiss border, between the canton of Valais and the Aosta Valley.
The ascent of the north face was considered as the last one of the big exploits of the mountain climbing in the Alps, with that of Eiger and that of Grandes Jorasses which form together three big north faces of the Alps.
