Voters fill the polling stations at our precinct in Des Moines. Sam (in the white hoodie) is voting for the very first time; Mary is in the middle.

Our polling location is at the Wesley Acres retirement community, and we've voted here for nearly 20 years. I've never realized how ugly the artwork is until taking this photo.
