Cloud of blossoms - Nuvola di fiori - a photo on Flickriver

            Hanami in Rome.

On one side of the Rome EUR City Lake, you can find the "Japanese Promenade" with some of the 2500 cherry trees donated by Japan on 20 July 1959 for the Rome Olympic Games. This allows romans to enjoy their little "Hanami", the Japanese traditional cherry trees spring blooming.

Sul una sponda del laghetto dell'EUR si trova la "passeggiata giapponese", con alcuni dei 2500 ciliegi donati dal Giappone il  20 luglio 1959 per i giochi olimpici del 1960. Questo consente ai romani di godere di un loro piccolo "Hanami", la tradizionale fioritura primaverile dei ciliegi in Giappone.
