“Lonely in the Snow” – I took this shot last weekend during the “blue hour” at twilight.

I think these old homesteads just seem a bit more lonely and moody in the winter. This is another one of my favorite homesteads, it has a lot of character and it brings back good memories.

Each year in highschool I went deer hunting with one of the sons who grew up here (and his 2 sons) This was one of the first yards we would check for deer. The yard has a lot of trees which makes a good home for a lot of wildlife including owls.
