Stars Over The Wirral - a photo on Flickriver

            After the mist/smog of last week it was nice to have a clear moonless night for a change. 20 min startrail with two shots lit up with a torch. The torch flare by the tree wasnt intentional, i was trying to get behind the tree to back light it but its really difficult to judge where the camera is! 

If i'm taking startrails in the middle of a field thats near a farm building/small village i usually let the camera snap away for x amount of time before getting the torch out for a couple of shots.... then getting out of the field ASAP!!
