Arriva The Shires 0351 (MX09 HJN) - a photo on Flickriver

            In 2009 Arriva launched Service 300 in Milton Keynes. The service was originally introduced as a Park & Ride service which operated between Kingston and MK Railway Station via Milton Keynes Coachway, replacing the original 200 service.

When the service began, the Coachway was being redeveloped, and services were using a temporary facility at the Campbell Park end of Silbury Boulevard. The Magna Park development was also not completed so services were terminating at Kingston Centre. However the most significant thing was that the five Mercedes Citaro buses ordered for the services were not yet ready, so five short Enviro 200 buses were drafted in on loan, numbered 0351 to 0355.

When the Citaros were finally delivered in December 2009; the service was branded as Platinum:MK with a dedicated silver livery.

The 300 became service 3 in 2022.
