The Einsiedeln monastery with its abbey and cathedral church Maria Himmelfahrt and St. Mauritius is an exemte Benedictine abbey in the municipality of Einsiedeln in the canton of Schwyz. The abbey is the largest pilgrimage site in Switzerland and an important stop on the Camino de Santiago.
