Initial post-processing in Photoshop included enlarging and sharpening. Several new layers were then created in GIMP (with G’MIC filters) using various artistic filters. These layers were stacked in Photoshop, the transparencies adjusted and a custom brush-stroke texture was then embedded into the composite to finish the painting.
