06-13-06 Trash on the Ohio - B&W - a photo on Flickriver

I had some business stuff to take care of Tuesday in Cincinnati, so I drove in, or should say "tried to drive in" early enough to so some night / predawn stuff - well that didn't happen.

I was on the river backs (on the Kentucky side) under the Purple People Bridge, trying to shoot downtown for at least 10 to 15 minutes before this bike got my attention. I may not have thought about shooting it if it wasn't for a recent conversation with an extremely busy friend, james, about trash and photography.

I shot it from a number of angles, but this one was by far the best. Luck-fully, the sun wasn't fully out yet so I was able to slow the shutter speed down enough to get the reflection.

I used a 3.5 second exposure with a f/11 apature. On this one, I did some cropping in Photoshop to get a better composition and added the boarder.
