Cairngorms Plateau - a photo on Flickriver

Cairngorms Plateau

            An image taken with a long lens whilst on an early morning walk on the tops between Cairn Lochan and Lairig Ghru on the way to Ben Macdui. This is not a very faithful rendition of the scene. I under-exposed the image and then messed with the white balance in post processing to add warmth to the scene. Even though I thought I was the only person for miles around, it was only when looking at the image later that I realised there was the figure of another walker on the top of one of the rocky outcrops in the distance..
