Vintage Postcard---Municipal Building, Phillipsburg, New Jersey, circa 1930s

            If my memory serves me correctly, this building was the original Phillipsburg High School, built before 1900, located in the triangular lot where Schappell Park is now between South Main and Sitgreaves Sts. The present Pburg High School was built in the 1930s and back then they reused beautiful old brick buildings rather than demolishing them. There should be a better earlier photo or postcard of this building without the trees in my Phillipsburg album.
