1706_1038 House Wren - a photo on Flickriver

            Until this week, all my photos of House Wrens have the wren perched on a fence, or on the roof of its house. Considering its name, the latter may be fitting, but surely this species was around before we started building houses for it!

Lately, the pair currently living in the house on my garden fence have been zipping up to a nearby tree when I get too close. They watch me weeding, or watering, and chatter incessantly. I've been keeping my camera close by, and that led to this shot.
