Old Home Near Pompeys Pillar, MT - a photo on Flickriver

            Driving to and from Billings I have always noticed this slumping farmstead near Pompeys Pillar. It has such great weathered texture and such interesting things scattered around the buildings--what is that huge yellow machinery in the yard??? This place had to have been abandoned for quite a long time. It looks like someone just drove that old car up to the house and left it there. I also love how they built this lace next to the rugged pine covered rocks that are common to this area of Montana. Wouldn't it be fun to more closely explore this place?
