Big Boy Makes a Pass at Emmy - a photo on Flickriver

            Union Pacific engine 4014, also known as Big Boy was heading home to Cheyenne last weekend. He had a convoy of followers crowding US 30 in western Nebraska.

The one24thscale team took a shortcut and got ahead of both the train and all those other photographers while traveling in period style in a 1953 Packard Clipper named Emmy.

The big fellow was so impressed with the old girl that he whistled at her as he passed by.

Emmy the Clipper is 1:1 scale and was built by Packard of Detroit

Big Boy is still just 1:1 scale and was built by American Locomotive Company of Schenectady, NY
