Cannock Chase from the 17th fairway - a photo on Flickriver

            Cannock Chase, in the distance, is designated as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, which for most purposes has a status just below that of a National Park.

The 17th tee is always a bit tricky because a duff shot will land the ball in the water. Many a player who knows they're capable of getting the ball over will nevertheless mess it up, underlining the fact that golf is half physical and half mental. Of course some people think we're 100% mental.
