Evening at Wadden Sea - a photo on Flickriver

            A Common Snipe searching its dinner in the glow of the sunset at the wadden sea at the North Sea coast. This is my favourite hour in this place, when the light turns into gold and a kind of stillness falls. The only sounds are wind and the voices of the birds, nothing else. It has always been like this here, and it would be so nice if it could stay like this here forever...
