Pre birthday cake.. - a photo on Flickriver

            It was my mother's 90th birthday do..! Her birthday is on 26th but we had planned (pre covid) a party this weekend. Ah well never mind! Jill and I saw her Saturday evening for a socillay distanced cup of tea and mini cakes at her flat! 
Then Sunday lunch at the Drummond pub at Albury in Surrey, (very nice too) They had given us a seperate room and keeping to the regs there were only six of us with mum who made seven on two tables. My sister who had planned to be there is still in South California where not only are they locked down due to high covid numbers. But now also evacuated from her home due to the huge fires which once again threaten to burn her house and area down. Poor ol thing!
So she joined us via a tablet, plus my son Tom and his family and my daughter Jessica and her family joined us on two seperate phones via WhatsApp and Messenger! 
What did we do before this tech eh!!
So mum had a good time and is also going out again on her birthday!
