Château de Jossigny - a photo on Flickriver

            Le château de Jossigny a été édifié en 1753 pour Claude-François Leconte des Graviers, conseiller au Parlement de Paris, par l’architecte royal Jacques Hardouin-Mansart de Sagonne (1711 – 1778), dernier représentant de l’illustre dynastie des Mansart. Situé à 32 kilomètres à l’est de Paris et à quelques longueurs de Marne-la-Vallée (Disneyland Paris), Il constitue un précieux témoignage de l’architecture d’une maison rocaille du milieu du XVIIIe siècle dans tout ce qu’elle a de plus charmant et de pittoresque. 

À la fin du XVIIIe siècle le domaine de Jossigny entre dans le patrimoine de la famille des Bragelongue et c’est par un jeu complexe d’alliances qu’il échoit au XIXe siècle à la famille de Roig.

Le baron Guy-François de Roig en fait don à l’État en 1949, conservant l’usufruit jusqu’à sa mort en 1975.
