Zoutkeetsgracht - Amsterdam (Netherlands)

After being shortened to Marnixstraat for more than two and a half years, tram line 5 runs again to Zoutkeetsgracht (actually the domain of tram line 3). This shortening had to do with the renovation of the Bullebakbrug. But the terminus has become a dead end terminus instead of a loop because the quay walls on the Houtmankade are being renovated. Bi-directional Combino 2201 just arrived here and will return on the same track to Amstelveen Stadshart.
Siemens Combino 2202 shown here is part of the small series 15G (2201-2204) and delivered to the GVB on 04/09/2002 and put into passenger service for the first time on 13/12/2002 on line 8.
