            Vietnamese people love their free market economy. Vietnam is a one party state, with 3 or 4 leaders at the top, then 14 to 19 below them, then 500 politicians below that. there is no division like in the USA where republicans hate democrats andnvice versa. 

This was most obvious in the 1st year of the pandemic where only 32 people died in Vietnam from Covid. Most of them brought it in from abroad. Everyone followed the rules and that led to extremely low infection rates. Many businesses are open air which helped too. 

The country is patriotic, with everyone hanging the country flag for special occasions like the recent Lunar New Year celebrations. Many people keep their flag up all the time. Vietnam has a healthy government with hardly any homeless people and no wasted money on political campaigns. They focus on improving citizen happiness as well as the usual things like health and education.
