When we went out on the Access Road at Forsythe for the first time (it was open for birders to see the Roseate Spoonbill), there were a multitude of dragonflies there.  This beautiful speciment was in the perfect place at the perfect time - I love how the background turned out; it was one of the few times I went for composition instead of documentarian style before I took the shot (I usually just try to GET the shot, then worry about composition after a few).

I believe that this is an immature male - hopefully someone out there can confirm.
