A Rare Indian Blue Robin foraging on the wet ground for insects

            A rare bird to our region, but more commonly found in the western mountain range of the country.  We literally sat down on the edge of a very dirty stream to get this shot. The bird prefers such wet environments where a number of small flies, insects and grubs are found. While on the trees it is tough to find, but very active on the ground and easy to spot.
