The Cornish Riviera Statesman in the September Sun

            The reason for the visit today was these two working a rare railtour in these troubled times.  47805 (D1935) 'Roger Hosking MA 1925 – 2013' & 47593 'Galloway Princess' power 1Z80 – 10:40 Penzance – York 'Cornish Riviera Statesman' through North Crofty Junction on Sunday 27th September 2020.  The former North Crofty branch can be seen to the right of the train, the signal box here closing in 1948 when it was replaced by a ground frame.  Interestingly the North Crofty block section applied to the up line only.
