AP-BJB Airbus A321-231 Air Blue MAN 01MAY09

            Replacing an earlier digital photo with a better version 08-Aug-22 (DeNoise AI).

First flown with the Airbus test registration D-AVZA, this aircraft was delivered to Aero Lloyd in Apr-00 as D-ALAN.  Aero Lloyd ceased operations in Oct-03 and the aircraft was returned to ILFC and stored at Frankfurt.

In Mar-04 it was leased to Aero Flight (which came from the remains of the defunct Aero Lloyd) as D-ARFA.  Aero Flight didn't do any better and they ceased operations at the end of Oct-05.  The aircraft was again returned to ILFC and stored, initially at Frankfurt and later at Munich.

In Jan-06 it was leased to Air Blue (Pakistan) as AP-BJB.  Sadly it was written off on 28-Jul-10 when it crashed into a hillside 10km (6miles) from Islamabad Airport, Pakistan, while on final approach in bad visibility.  Sadly, there were no survivors.
