Amsterdam - Rijksmuseum and IAMsterdam

            The Amsterdam - Newcastle overnight car ferry was certainly one reason we went here, but honestly I thought it would be just a good excuse to give Amsterdam another try. Our first visit we stayed in the centre and our experience wasn't that great. This time we stayed on a houseboat in Jordaan and I fell in love with the city. Huge but livable in every way, with a friendly, diverse, and tolerant population - I've never met an unpleasant or negative Dutch person. Amsterdam forced me to admit it's now one of my favorites.

I think this promotional campaign is brilliantly done. The public and tourists alike seem drawn to it as well, so I wanted to capture it while we were there. Long exposure and several stitches only to crop back to a single frame. Used the converter to make it a 48mm perspective.
