La iglesia de la Vera Cruz, anteriormente titulada como Santo Sepulcro, es un templo católico situado en el barrio de San Marcos de la ciudad de Segovia, en la comunidad autónoma de Castilla y León, en España. Se ubica al norte de la ciudad, muy cerca del Convento de San Juan de la Cruz, en la ladera que asciende hasta Zamarramala, localidad de la que fue, durante siglos, iglesia parroquial.

El templo está realizado en estilo románico, ya en transición al gótico, con una nave de planta dodecagonal, que circunda un edículo de dos alturas, a la que se han añadido tres ábsides, una sacristía semicircular y una torre de planta cuadrada.

Este tipo de construcciones, que tienen como antecedente directo los baptisterios romanos de los primeros tiempos del cristianismo, fue muy utilizado por diferentes Órdenes Cruzadas. Se estima que se tomó como ejemplo la Mezquita de la Roca y la Basílica del Santo Sepulcro de Jerusalén.

El muro exterior es de sillería, y en él se abren pequeñas ventanas saeteras de medio punto que dan luz al templo. Como única ornamentación de la fachada posee unas monduras que recorren los lienzos. En las aristas se ubican contrafuertes que refuerzan la estructura.

The church of the True Cross, previously titled like Holy Sepulcher, is a Catholic temple located in the San Marcos neighborhood of the city of Segovia, in the autonomous community of Castile and Leon, Spain. It is located to the north of the city, very close to the Convent of San Juan de la Cruz, in the slope that ascends until Zamarramala, locality of which was, during centuries, parochial church.

The temple is made in Romanesque style, already in transition to the Gothic, with a nave of dodecagonal plant, that surrounds an edículo of two heights, to which three apses have been added, a sacristy semicircular and a tower of square plant.

This type of constructions, which have as direct antecedent Roman baptisteries of the early times of Christianity, was very used by different Crusade Orders. It is estimated that the example of the Mosque of the Rock and the Basilica of the Holy Sepulcher of Jerusalem was taken as an example.

The outer wall is made of ashlar masonry, and in it are opened small saeteras windows that give light to the temple. As only ornamentation of the facade possesses a monduras that cross the canvases. In the edges are located buttresses that reinforce the structure.
