Opera House Rocks, Isle of Islay. - a photo on Flickriver

            The waves breaking onto the rocky shore just to the north of the lovely “Saligo Bay” on the Isle of Islay complete the view towards  ”Dun Bheolain" an outcrop of rocks known locally as "The Opera House Rocks" as they resemble from a distance the Sydney Harbour Opera House.  Iron age forts were built on their headland as defences, the Rocks are around 750 million years old.
