Life on The Streets of Old Havana, #3

            The neglected and decaying city center of Havana, Cuba ("Habana Vieja"), due, quite possibly, to the result of U.S. travel and trade restrictions that have lasted in one form or another for over half a century. Though restoration goes on in other parts of the city, in 'Habana Vieja' (Old Havana) most buildings continue to deteriorate and crumble and multiple families live in them.

Through all of this decaying colonial grandeur, I found that the people of this central city appear lively and continue to project optimism as well as pride.
