生態與分佈 Ecology ：
黑枕藍鶲為台灣特有亞種。雄鳥上半身有亮麗的青藍色,前頸下有一黑色細橫帶,後頭有一黑斑，故名『黑枕藍鶲』。分佈於台灣各地山麓至低海拔山區的次生林及常綠闊葉樹林，為普遍的留鳥；常單獨或成對活動於枝椏濃密且蔓籐糾結之密林中。性機警且好動，因此不易很清楚的觀察，覓食時常棲於樹梢，飛行捕蟲動作靈活，令人嘆為觀止，常發出宏亮似「回！回！回！」之連續叫聲。
