Twenty to seven - a photo on Flickriver

Twenty to seven

            The fountain "Revolving Torsion" in the garden outside St Thomas' hospital was designed by Russian sculptor Naum Gabo (1890-1977) who moved to England in the 1930's and influenced a generation of sculptors. The jets of water and the space they define, form part of the sculpture and the planting and the buildings are considered part of the composition.
