EP Elections 2014: The challenge of informing online audiences about Europe and its future

54 online journalists from all over the EU attended a seminar organised by the European Parliament’s Directorate for the Media on Tuesday 12 and Wednesday 13 November.

Journalists discussed about the 2014 European Elections, the Information Campaign and EP’s activities at large with EP’s Vice-Presidents for Communication and Information Policy, Anni Podimata and Othmar Karas (in the photo); with MEPs Amelia Andersdotter and Marietje Schaake; and with Jaume Duch Guillot, EP Spokesperson and Director for the Media, and Steve Clark, Director for Relations with Citizens.

Experts from the online world and EU Affairs, as well as members of the EP’s Web Communications Team also shared their knowledge and experiences with the attendees.
