            An older image… So many images on my computer, I'm lost…

The nath yogi can be recognized to their enormous wooden ring splitting their ears. They travel in group most of the time, mainly in North and central India. Here we are in Haridwar, a holy city on the bank of river Ganga. 

Young sadhu like Dharam Nath are commonly seen in India. Sometimes they struggle with their familly to get the freedom of their choice. Sometimes, like here, a boy finds himself without familly and is adopted by an elder, who become his guru and teach him the path. Most of the kids I meet are happy with this.
