Sonepur baba - Bihar - a photo on Flickriver

            I saw him from afar in Sonepur mela, a huge turban, something like half a meter hight, really more than I ever saw anywhere. When we neared each other, I asked him for a photo, but when his eyes met mine, I lost control of the camera. That's the framing I discovered later on. Be sure it's not mine, I wanted the turban too !

Je l'ai vu de loin a la Sonepur mela, un turban énorme, haut d'un bon demi-mètre, tel que je n'en avais encore jamais vu. Lorsqu'il est arrivé à ma hauteur avec ses amis, je lui ai demandé une photo. Mais lorsqu'il a planté ses yeux dans les miens, j'ai  perdu le contrôle de l'appareil. Voilà le cadrage que j'ai découvert plus tard… Ce n'est pas le mien, je voulais absolument le turban !!!
