01 Argentina LVTP-7 - a photo on Flickriver

Re-upload of the photo, but now with the Argentinian Soldiers that I recently bought from United Bricks.

This year I´m concentrating on building models from South American Nations since they aren´t widely represented on LEGO.

This is a LVTP-7 or Landing Vehicle, Tracked, Personnel-7, used by the Argentine Marines or IMARA (Infantería de Marina Armada República Argentina).

They were only used in combat during Operation Rosario, the Invasion of the Malvinas/Falkland Islands in 1982. The British claim that they destroyed one with a rocket launcher however, no conclusive proof of that has ever been presented.

All vehicles returned to Argentina before the end of the war.
