Gilded Flicker - Female - a photo on Flickriver

This image was taken around the same time as the Many Favorited Male Guided Flicker - www.flickr.com/photos/danazcst/7804920852/in/set-72157632...

Every photographer has it's own favorites - this image is one of them for me. What do I see in this image vs. everyone elses eye, only you can answer this question.

I'd would sincerely appreciate if you could leave me as many comments to what you see in this image vs. the beautiful male - is it the striking color pattern of the Male Flicker, the slightly different composition or maybe something that I'm overlooking?
