Wasn't planning on shooting at this location today, but it provided the only vantage point with some clouds and color in the sky.

It's been a pretty busy week and I haven't posted anything in exactly one week! And I've been getting harassed for it!

So here you go - it's the Rock Island Railroad Bridge, an abandoned railroad bridge over the Arkansas River at Little Rock. I think this is slated to become a pedestrian bridge some time in the future - like the Junction Bridge. I believe it is part of something called the Six Bridges Project - I see signs all over for that but have never bothered to stop and read them.

Single shot, 20 seconds at f/10, ISO 100, circ polarizer, very little processing. Just adjusted the contrast a little and sharpened it.

I shot some longer exposures with the 6-stop ND filter but that little moon messed them up - turned into a smear in the sky and water.

I have never seen the river as still as it was this morning. Seriously, I have seen stagnant cess pools with more flow. I don't know if the Corps of Engineers was doing something at one of the locks and dams, but there was zero movement in the water.
