Topcon UV 50mm f2 - a photo on Flickriver

Topcon UV 50mm f2

            UV Topcon 50mm f2 with Vivitar 2X Custom tele-converter and DIY adapter.
 I bought Unirex camera with lens and converter for 40$. Camera is working but i did not have intention of using it. Maybe one day. I just removed aperture ring from camera and glued one spare 42mm ring.on it. With any cheap (no glass) m42 adapter for Nikon F it will work on Nikon DSLR, which is kind or rarity. Of course, it mounts on any mirrorless with no issues at all.
I have no idea how long epoxy will keep.
I wanted to try those UV Topcon lenses. RE Topcon line of lenses is very, very good. One of the best. But they are becoming pricey (and some are already too expensive for vintage glass).
So I wanted to check are UV lenses anywhere near to RE ones. And, the first impression is: they are not. They are cheap for a reason. Do not get me wrong, 50mm I got is ok lens but just not comparable to any high-end vintage lenses. They are well-made. All metal and glass. Focus is smooth and easy to work with. 
I will take it for a walk tomorrow and see how it behaves on good light.
There are some adapters for those lenses, but they are relatively costly.

One thing, if you do DIY adapter, do NOT declick it. There will be nothing to keep aperture at wanted value.
