In un paese lontano
dove il sole impallidisce 
e passano le ore con altro silenzioso
ritmo, camminando avverto l'aria
del fiume tra betulle e fabbriche rossastre
abbandonate. Tra poca gente
biciclette e odori e suoni di interni
dove si mette in tavola
una cena, questa - mi dico -
è solitudine, è distanza.
E ai vetri della porta verde,
al 2, una lampada si è accesa.
