The Last Sunset - a photo on Flickriver

The Last Sunset

            I've named this image The Last Sunset as it signifies the end of an era for me in my photographic adventures. We will be relocating from Aberdeenshire to the Highlands in the next week or so and so I wanted to "sign-off" from Aberdeenshire with an image that defines Aberdeenshire for me. I feel this image does that, as I will have fond memories of the rolling fields and lone trees, of which there are many, that define for me the part of Aberdeenshire in which I've lived for the past 9 years. 

Sad to be leaving but excited at the same time due to the increased photographic opportunities which I hope will present themselves. So goodbye to the rolling fields of the shire and hello to the mountains, glens and lochs of the highlands. All this, plus being a lot closer to the west coast. Bring it on!
