Of all the piazzas in Rome, THAT is where that thing had to be parked. Really? REALLY? The tourists didn't seem to mind though. They took lot of photos of that thing.

From "Projects" album on my computer desktop, something a little different. I took this three years ago in Rome on a holiday trip to the Mediterranean sea where I took some of my underwater toy photographs. I liked this idea but I never really got it to work that well, the 1/72nd scale Millennium Falcon model is simply too small to look real blown up prominently like this, the depth of detail just isn't there. This was a little too ambitious for me and the model, so I left it in the ”Projects” folder on my computer desktop unfinished.

A couple of days ago I posted the unfinished image on Twitter as such, I figured I wasn't going to finish it so I just let it go. But yesterday I looked at it one more time and realised what the main problem was. It was the light bouncing back from the ground, it was all wrong. I worked on this for an hour, tweaked the shadows, messed with the sharpness levers and generally just scrambled it a little bit.

I like the panorama image format and how it works. I think this turned out a fun little summer holiday snapshot after all.
