Yamaha NS-5000 speakers (2) - a photo on Flickriver

            Well they arrived today, My new Yamaha NS-5000 speakers. Many hours of breaking in to do but right out of the box I am very impressed. I have had the NS-1000's for 26 years now and I am going to explore the possibility of having the crossover's revitalized and the exterior refinished so they can be re-purposed for use in the living room upstairs. Finish on the NS-5000's is done exactly the same as on the concert grand pianos (by the same people!) and they are stunning to look at. I am a very lucky and happy camper!
