Survivor (Explored 16/05/16) - a photo on Flickriver

            I've been after a location like this ever since i started photography. I found this field completely by accident when i was driving back from  Ashridge. Its in a tiny village called Nettledon and the lone tree in the field is just the perfect sight. I was talking to my dad about it and it turns out that 25 yrs ago this field was on fire from a tractor that had caught alight right next to this tree and it was almost lost. My Dad was part of the fire crew that saved the field and the tree from destruction.
