Golden Tulip Inntel Hotel in Zaandam, The Netherlands, designed by WAM architects.

The façade of this building resembles a stacking of up to 70 traditional Zaandam houses. Art or kitsch? Zaandam tradition or Disneyland? Conforming to, or ridiculing the regional style? However you look at it: this building sure is intriguing!

Photographed using the Olympus M.Zuiko 40-150mm lens @82mm. However, my framing was wrong, so I actually stitched three photos together. I wanted to make a square crop, but that was just too narrow to work, so this is as square as it could get.
