The Sun Waterfall - "Fontanon di Goriuda"

The final stretch of the imposing waterfall coming out from Fontanon di Goriuda, in Val Raccolana, Friuli Venezia Giulia, (Ud), Italy, is called "Cascata del Sole" (The Sun Waterfall).
An easy trail leads to this big waterfall characterized by a wild beauty and enhanced by a very clear stretch of water where water falls roaring creating, with nebulization, ephemeral and vanishing shapes, always different and harmonious.

Con l'appellativo di "Cascata del Sole" viene indicato il tratto terminale della imponente cascata d'acqua che fuoriesce dal Fontanon di Goriuda, in Val Raccolana.
Un semplice sentiero conduce fino a questa grande cascata che appare in tutta la sua selvaggia bellezza, esaltata anche da uno specchio d'acqua limpidissima dove l'acqua precipita con fragore creando, con la nebulizzazione, figure effimere ed evanescenti sempre diverse e armoniose.
