Leopard - a photo on Flickriver

            I've just got back from the most amazing trip to Namibia (hence the recent radio silence), travelling around the central and northern areas of the country.

I was able to visit 5 different areas (obviously the country has so much more to offer, and I'd very much like to revisit!) and each offered something amazingly different. Having never visited a desert before, I was blown away at the vast expanses of land in Namibia. You can travel for hours without seeing a house or another person.

I've got a mountain of images to go through, but I'm starting with a very special encounter for me, with this female Leopard at Erindi. It was another first seeing this beautiful animal, and it was such a privilege to spend some time with her.
